tell me what you think about this TA
Well, i'm going to try and sell my z looking for an older lt1 WS6. Found this one, it is fully loaded 97 with 66,000 miles and stock. He wants 10,900 for it, don't know much about lt1's but here are some pics.

Not a bad lookin' car. Looks like its in pretty good shape and the price is fair for the miles although I wouldn't go more than 10K myself. You need to do the normal stuff and ask for the VIN so you can run a Carfax and make sure its all good and ask the normal questions that won't show up on a carfax report. But overall looks like a nice starting platform for a nice ride.
yeah, i've got a bunch of mods on my ls1 but i just want to get something cheaper and i have never seen the older WS6's, see newer ones everywhere but i know the lt1 WS6's were limited production. I saw one at a lot when i was in highschool, graduated in 98, but i was to young so i just got to druell on it, first car was an 87 Bronco. Just tired of the prices for parts on ls1, plus i want to put a turbo tech kit on this car
, lt1s are just better with boost.
, lt1s are just better with boost. Clean lookin car. Check it out and make him an offer if everything is well. If you can get him under 10 grand, that car is an absolute steal. Still a good deal though.
Nothin like a pair of heads for $600
Gotta love LT1/SBC parts.

Gotta love LT1/SBC parts. kbb is alot lower than NADA, which is what my bank goes by. Think NADA actualy factors in rarety of cars. I'll just give you an example, found a 95 z here with 99,000 miles, the dealership wants 10,000 negotiable. The mark up on sports cars is just high as crap here. Thank god it's in north texas. Yall might have another LT1 board member soon
