Default Factory 3.23 gears with a 3500 stall

Anyone running 3.23 gears with a stall? Right now I have 4.11s and they were OK with the stock motor but with my current engine it claps the rev limiter at 7k at around 112 MPH way before the quarter stripe comes
I have a spare rearend with 3.23s but I was afraid that may be to much with that much stall. Anyone running one like this?

It depends somewhat on the characteristics of that 3500 converter (stall speed doesn't tell all), but most probably the car will be extremely sluggish at anything less than high throttle situations.
It will suck to drive around, but would still perform acceptably at the dragstrip.

Put a taller tire on it at the track like a 27" or 28" tall tire and you'll be fine.

I agree. That's a better solution than changing rears.

I went from 4.11 to 3.42 with a yank 3600 and drivability is no different

VIG 4400 with 323s and ms4... I DD for close to 6 months and didn't mind it thought the 410s did tighten it up a little more around town but nothing too radical of a change, neither bothered me.

26" tire.

Its a 3500 vigilante. Its not a terrible loose converter on light loads. Biggest thing im looking for is to be able to role through the traps at around 6800 in 3rd and not have to use overdrive.
