Default Houston area LT1 tuner???

Hey guys i am new around here and was wanting to know if there is a big crowd of LT1s in the area! It'd be awesome to know where to find a good place to get a dyno tune on my '97 SS. Putting hot cam and full bolt-ons on soon and ill definitely need a tune!

Serious HP is local and can do it, none of the local sponsors touch LT1s any more.

For such a mild and typically common build I am sure a mail-order tune will be pretty damn close if not spot-on. Have you considered that? I don't think $500+ would be worth the extra 5HP or so you MIGHT get from a dyno-tune, especially since no one near you seems to do LT1s anymore so you'd have to doubt their abilities to an extent...

I'm in Houston, and I'd like to know this too. I was not happy with my mail order tune, and it needs a retune anyway because of the new cam.

MoeHorsepower tunes my car, as well as Tony Shepherd, Formula383 (I think thats his user name here), plus many others...he is based in San Antonio but can travel depending on your needs. But feel free to use whomever you choose...no one but Moe will tune my car

Call Moe, he did an incredible tune on my car. I went the mail order route for 3 years tuning back and forth and never got it right. Moe fixed the tune and made her run so much better in an hour. He's the only one I'd let tune my car from now on.

Thanks for the input guys! I pm'd him on here and waiting for a reply. Also if i just did cam headers and bored it 30 over will it even require a tune? I only ended up going with the hot cam kit

yes, a tune is essentially required with any cam change.
