I went with a 295 MT DR on 15x10s but wish I went with a 275. A 295 is alot of tire and I'm confident I could hook just as well on a 275. But boy do those puppies hook.

Bigger isn't always better if the suspension can handle it.

If you have the clearance, keep the 10" wheels and run those "12.5" ET Streets. I can tell some here don't realize that the designated "sizes" on ET Streets are not traditional drag tire sizes. ie. the 12.5" ET Street tread width is only about 10".

Slicks numbers generally mean tread width.
ET Street numbers correspond to section width.
My 10" Hoosier slicks are wider than these "12.5" tires you're talking about.

If you bracket race it will be more consistent round to round esp when your not racing on fly paper.

Right that's what I though the tire is 12.5 at the widest point but the tread is only 10"

So what I need to know is keep them or exchange them?

The ET Drags 28x10.5x15 I would exchange them for has a 10" tread with a 11.6" section width. The ones I currently have are 10" tread with a 12.5" section. So its only .9" wider.

28x12.5-15 M/T ET Drags on 15x10 Drag Lites, 7.5 bs

Stops are gone but the mounts are still there. I would recommend cutting those off though. Its a really tight fit with them there

No fender rolling, but will need it if I go any lower back there

BFH? Yea a hell of a lot of it. Also needed to slightly trim the back bumper cover to fit the 28in slicks. If you have adj lca's you won't have to cut as much

I don't see ET Drags in that size even on MT website.

I think I am just going to exchange for 28x10.5x15 ET Drags.

These are them.

Here is the 11.5"

Starting to wondering if I should exchange the 12.5s.

I have no rear end in my car right now, still have till next week before it ships, so I can't test fit them.
You've confused the hell outta me. You linked ET Streets in your second post, and now you're talking ET Drags.??

They don't make a 28x10.5x15 ET Streets, only ET Drags.

These are the next step in ET Streets. 11.1" section, 8.60" tread.

A 12.50 ET Street is the same as a 10.50 ET Drag how hard is this to understand?

I went from 28x12.5 ET Streets to 28x10.5 Hoosiers and the Hoosiers were very noticeably smaller in section width and height, but wider in tread.

the et drag 28x10.5w is 12" of tread. and you need a mini tub to fit them.
