95 formula older optispark?

95 formula older optispark? hey guys, I was just getting into my 95 formula and i ordered the accel cap n rotor from summit racing and ended up getting the one for the vented opti. but when i go to change everydamn thing its the optispark w/o the vent. The kid i got it from said the motor came outta vette but wasn't sure what year. I am thinking 94 since its running just fine on the 95 pcm. the trans perform light comes on and seems to be running the trans. or is it possible that he was full of **** when he said it was changed out. it really doesn't look like its a diff. motor. all the motor mounts look untouched blah blah blah...
Any ideas would be helpful..

yeah. i got that ordered already, i guess my question was more is that motor really from an older vette or is it possible that GM put that older style optispark on the 95 model? the timing cover kit I got for the 95 was also different so i had to take that back to the local store and got the one for a 94 and it fit right on!

it just seemed weird that none of the mounts or anything looked like they were changed. But i guess it must be from an older vette like they told him. It does have the aluminum heads. so either vette or f'body car. Is there numbers somewhere i can find out exactly where it came from?
