Heat and beeswax sounds stupid but it works, Kroil works too.

I can't help but think your pushing against the inside of the hub casting, instead of the inside bottom the bolt hole in the crank snout. Are you sure you're doing it correctly? Have you ever performed a successful removal? I see you have 1200+ posts, but if you have not done this before, it can mess you up.

Lol, post count means nothing. Yes I have taken several out before, just never had this kind of trouble with one. I know that I'm pushing against the right place with the (semi) correct tool, it just wouldn't come. I don't even really post here anymore b/c my car has been out of commission for so long. It's all lounge and Texas section.

Thinking the same. Mine was a pita until I realized I wasn't pushing off of the crank. I took a long 1/4" extension and stuck that in the center of the crank. Puller pushed off that and viola, it came off.

Not sure if this deal is still valid, but I recently got two cans using a similar deal.

That's a good deal. Have to order some up.

And once again, yes I was pushing on the crank itself. Pulled threads off of 6 grade 8 bolts and bent/broke 2 puller bodies. It really didn't like me. We have moved on with my buddies build until a kent moore puller comes in.

Yeah.. My money is on the fact you're pushing/pulling on the hub at same time.. They really aren't that much of a PITA ..
