O2 question...
After the trans install, i noticed a surging at low speed/highway speed/cruising. I started throwing an O2 code for bank 2, and decided to look underneath to see what was up. I found the bank 2 O2 sensor completely unplugged.
I drove it like that for approximetly 600 miles before finding the sensor unplugged. I plugged it back in, and the SES light stopped showing up. (I did reset the codes) The problem is that I still have the surging/trailer hitching symptoms I had before plugging it back in. I'm guessing that the sensor is likely fouled pretty bad, and is switching slow, causing the symptoms I'm seeing now. I has similar symptoms with messed up O2 sensors before.... the question is this.
Does my diagnosis seem right?
The car acted like this when I had older bosch sensors on it extended with teh crappy pacesetter extension kit. I bought 2 new denso sensors and proper O2 extension harnesses and the surging issue went away.... until the trans change. Well.... until the installer left one of the o2's unplugged LOL
