You have to modify a std sbc intake to fit.

I went though that. I found the center bolts drilled for the LT1 bolt pattern made it tough to get those bolt in. They hit the manifold runners. Found it better to drill and install threaded inserts in the heads to accept the standard SBC bolt pattern. End bolt holes in the manifold had to be slotted slightly and spot faced for the LT1 bolt angle. I bought a Wilson adapter for bolting the LT throttle body to the elbow. Pricey little piece. Very nice, but cost more than his Elbow. Next thing I found, my hood would not shut. Had to buy an Edelbrock elbow.
After port work, I had about $3500.00 tied up in it. Think that is about what my Hogan sheet metal intake cost. And it was slower. :-(
Story of my life. LOL

Re-read the previous posts from ED WRIGHT

Hope you have a lot of motor, big nitrous or serious forced induction to utilize a converted Carb intake.

I only run the out side 8 bolts, I run a Super Vic with the 4500 flange cause I can get away with it, I tried a vortec intake first and it was way off.

I lucked up and brought an already modified Victor E EFI intake from a member of this board, RamAir and the waterneck was already removed and all of the bolt holes filled, drilled and spot faced to work with the LT1 head bolt pattern.
