See that makes me wonder, because if it were the opti, id imagine I would be able to see fluctuations on the osthilliscope. What I was seeing was nice and smooth/very consistent

i've never used one of those tools before so i can't speak from first hand experience. But i know my spark was at the right time but the opti rotor compared to the pin drive on the cam were off from eachother. If you compared the old opti to the new one with them both at the 6 tdc pin the rotor was off probably about 25 degrees. Not saying this is the same problem with your car, i would definetly check fuel pressure, just stating my experience with chandler optis.

Gotcha, I'm hoping this is a fuel issue, don't really look forward to buying another opti.. Guess I knew what I was getting into with that "to good to be true" price chandler offers
