The PCM toggles the air/fuel rich, lean, rich, lean 60 times a second to store oxygen in the cats at all times except for P.E. (WOT) Mode. You won't likely see 60 swings rich & lean, because your scanner won't update fast enough. Under those conditions your wide band can only try to average those numbers. I wouldn't take it to the bank. If it displays the actual number you are lucky. If wrong the numbers will be skewed lean. You should use your fuel trims for idle & part throttle.

I agree data logging is needed also.

And if you have an aftermarket TB you need to have done the conversion correctly also. If that is done. I think you should be able to take an IR thermometer and fine tune each cyl. Start with the coldest one and work it from there. Add more fuel fuel to the hotter ones. In the idle cyl balance. Almost need egt's to do the off cyl balance though.

But I didn't have issues with split BLM's. I run a BBK 58tb.
