These are looking good. I put mine under the cowl area with an LS1 relocation kit. I will post pics next weekend when I make it back to the car. Unfortunately I have a head gasket leak or worse, so I will be tearing into it.

Bill's kit is definitely easy and a nice setup. I just chose to be different. I wanted my own setup and chose a different route.

Here's a better view of the EFI Connection coil bracket assemblies. Click the following link to rotate, zoom, and even hide components for more detail. http://www.eficonnection.com/eficonn...-120-00025.pdf

The valve cover is transparent to show attaching detail.

These brackets were designed with the LT1 valve cover in mind. Notice the oil fill cap is off center. This is due to the location of the oil fill hole of the SBC valve cover. The LT1 oil fill hole is slightly higher and in the middle of the bracket hole.

Here's my setup. I had a set of '04 truck coils, so that's what I used...

Ya'll are going to make me feel self-conscience when I’m done with my conversion. Most of ya’ll have nice, clean engine bays, and crazy set ups.
97Z28SS nice engine, intake, carb set up.
Blackbirdws6 my jaw hit the ground when I seen your engine bay. It’s gorgeous! Do you even drive it?
CALL911 yours look mean and clean with that intake.
Sapper that is a innovative idea that you are implementing.
BizZzatch350 What in the world!? Nice engine bay and I don’t even know what kind of intake set up your using, but it looks good.
Dynamic 396 Damn, that just looks pretty.

I think I’m going to have to hit my engine bay with a tooth brush and paint before I post any pictures up on this site.

The LT1 stock valve cover bracket looks amazing. Almost makes me want to put my old VC's on just to purchase that bracket

Dynamic 396,

The bracket works with aftermarket valve covers, too. You only need to determine the difference in height and source longer bolts.

Finally got my valve covers finished up with the powdercoating. Placement on the right side is definately a factor on a B-body due to heater hose. But I got it right.
Also, I had ordered wires from Taylor. They are the 409 race wire. 135* boot on the coil, 6.5" between boots, 90* on plug. Somewhere around $80 shipped. I know they were $69.14 + shpng. If anyone is interested call Taylor and ask for Justin.

OK, let me change something. I got my wires last night and come to find out 11.5" with a 10.4mm wire doesn't work like a 8mm wire. I have to cut some off to make it about 6.5" between boots. A 90* on the plug side is a must and a 90* on the coil side would have been better.
I won't know about how good this is for an F-body until we get working on my neighbors Z. Plus his headers are alot different than mine. So we'll see. But these things are nice. I'll try to get up some pics tonite.

Ill have some pics of my new style coil brackets up on Tuesday. I will still have the simple individual brackets for sale for you guys on a budget. The new ones will be a tad pricier, but I will be able to send an entire assembly with the coil sub harness and coils.

Here are the new coil brackets. I still offer the individual brackets as they will be cheaper for those on a strict budget.

The bracket in the picture is brushed aluminum, I will offer them possibly in painted and powdercoated. This will cost extra. I will just have to see what the demand is for some sort of coating on them.

I like the way they turned out, if you guys have suggestions as far as the coating goes let me know!

So the coils have to come off, then the bracket/cover can come off?

Yes sir, I dont believe there is anyway to keep clearance for the oil fill and breather and get clearance for the bracket bolt.
