Has anyone swapped the resonator out with a muffler or a round muffler? I just want to quiet it down some and I found a 6" diameter by 12" long flowmaster pro series muffler that is round but I don't know if it will fit or not. I had true duals and swapped to the Loudmouth to get the exhaust out from under the car.

I went with the Borlamouth setup. I have longtube headers and no cats. The regular loudmouth was waaay too much, but everyone loved it. Borlamouth elminates rasp and still sounds amazing. It is the more pricey replacement though.

I love the sound, but my neighbors don't I'm sure. It has a terrible rasp/rattle sound at like 2400-2600 RPM that I hate with a passion. I had true duals but swapped to the LM to get the exhaust out the back and out from under to quiet down inside.

You wont be disappointed with the Borla XR1.. Summit Racing has Free Shipping on all Borla Exhausts right now.
The Borla to replacement the Loudmouth resonator definitely quites down the rasp at low RPM.
