Default o2 sim question

i went to order my o2 sims from summit just now, and i dont know which one i need, the 97-2001 or the 95-96 one. i called and they couldnt give me an answer and they said to check if it was a 4 point. i went under and it is hard to get to and i dont have the time really to pull things to get to it to see. i was hoping someone had a quick answer. i figured 97 would be different than the ls1's.

Yea, I thought they were universal for all OBDII, only the V6s ODBII cars are supose to have problems with them because of the voltage.

The extensions are for your front o2's, you will need them for longtube headers. I believe that the front ones are to tell your engine how much gas to add so i woul'dnt try to delete those...

you need the 97+ 02 simms, they are 4pt, they are for the aftercat 02 sensor replacement, one is located right by your starter and the other is located by the transmission tailshaft area. They are 4-contact connectors about 3/4" x 3/4", same as the LS cars in 97.

O2 simulators are universal the only difference are the connectors. We have a Dual (only one is needed for dual exhaust) O2 simulator without connectors that we sell (currently on special for $24.99 and free shipping within the U.S) for any OBDII vehicle, you can splice it into your harness or onto your old connectors if you like.
