exhaust ideas!

exhaust ideas! In the interest of keeping things cheap and simple, I would like to just stick a resonator type muffler on the end of my y-pipe and throw on a turn down at the end. Has anybody else done this?

My exhaust is basically just a full size magnaflow 4x9 muffler right after my Y and thats it. The bigger muffler has more sound control then a bullet while still making plenty of noise when I want it to.
