Default Stuck Motor Mount

Alright guys my drivers side motor mount is not dropping the last 1/2 i need to get the bolt through to tighten the mount. Its almost like its wedging itself and wont drop the last 1/2 inch the motor is just sitting kinda sideways. I need help! Ideas??

Sure you don't have the pass side mount on upside down? I did that putting my motor in and it would not allow me to line up the mounts. Or just try putting some pressure on top of the motor to "shove" it down.

Ya its not upside down, i just dropped the k frame to put in new pan, and it just wont go in, iv tried letting the jack down kinda hard and everything

I'd say some Wd40 or something to let it sort of slide down, i just read the other thread actually as I have to drop my pan down as well. thank god it's an auto car I know when i flipped my mount it just dropped right back into place, odd that yours won't all the sudden, noting under the mount or anything to possibly stop it?

Ya lucky yours is an auto. And i dont think anything is stopping it. Im going to have to wait and see im leaving town till monday so its just going to sit like that for a while
