Why are you guys making this out to be complicated for the OP?
Download Tunerpro and associated files to get it up and running. (To datalog/ modify bins).
Download Winflash from TunerCats for $20. (To flash the PCM with your edited bins).
Get your ALDL cable and go..
OP I wouldn't buy from that seller because who knows what kind of cable he's selling (cheapies can cause connection problems).

This is what I use for a cable, I've datalogged and flashed, never have any issues with it.

I just couldn't see spending so much on cables when this worked for $10

I have moates obd1 for my '92 vert and his obd1/2 for the 95 4th gens and an obd2 cable.
I don't mind spending the $ for a quality product. Been using hs stuff since he came out with a DOS based program for data loggin 3rdgens.

In short: Don't buy that ebay listing that you posted. Get yourself a quality ALDL/serial or usb cable and download Tunerpro for free, or buy tunerCATS. You can use the 30 day trial version of Winflash to read/write your tunes to the PCM. And before you do anything.. read read read. Then read some more..

This..
The most important part in learning how to tune, research. The learning curve is steep, don't f*** yourself over trying to take the easy way out.
I just got myself set up tonight, ready to finally start seeing why my car is burning so much gas..
(I downloaded gregrob's dash from the tutorial, still trying to learn how to make my own. I played around in the adx dash editor, I see how to set up gauges but haven't figured out the unique ID part- I'm sure its something stupidly simple. More reading when I have time!

If you are still looking for a cable and you want one that you know is going to work, buy my cable.
http://reddevilriver.com/aldl.html
$55.00 shipped to US locations.
Tested to work with the 16188051 (94-95 LT1 PCM) with both TunerPro RT and WinFlash.
Available in 12 pin(94 and earlier), 16 pin(95 LT1) and a universal bare terminal version that will work with both 94 & 95
-------
Unique ID is just a no-space placeholder name for that dash. ie BLACKDASH
-------
The $EE definition on my install disk has multiple dash's defined in it. I did not write it. It came from the guys at gearhead-efi.com. It is just one of the multiple .ADX definitions supplied with the disk. Anyways download the disk and open up the "1994 - 95 5.7 (LT1) - Y, F, B Body & Cadillac $EE-16188051-V3.2.adx" and you will already have multiple dash screens defined. It's a good starting point.
