Default anyone know a good shop to rebuilt a lt1 to stock specs in illinois

looking to have the lt1 rebuilt to stock specs maybe a plae that will remove rebuild and reinstal the engine or me remove and take them the engine anything at this point just cant find a shop
and i have never rebuilt a lt1 so i would be clueless to attempt it myself

Ah engines are easy to rebuild. If your a little worried about installing things like the pistons and crank shaft you could have the machine shop who does the machining on your block install them for you. Paying a shop to pull the engine, rebuild it, then re install it will cost probably as much as buying a decent LS1 Camaro...

Where in IL are you? There's plenty of places up in Northern IL that can help you out. If you're just looking for a stock rebuild, consider a Jasper instead. They're relatively cheap and the one that went in my brother's Sanoma has a 100,000 mile warranty.

Otherwise there are plenty of shops that can take care of you.
