I've got a similar setup on my Camaro, though mine is custom-fabbed from a Magnaflow muffler and dual resonated tips. Like you, I also got more than enough of my SLP LM1.

Nice job!
Thank you sir!

Keep your eye out in the for sale section, they come up every once in a while.

I was going to build one with a Magnaflow muffler with a 3 inch Walker I pipe and over the axle pipe. This system is getting very hard to find.

Not sure if you care, but that that is not the same SLP muffler as used on the original SS. It'd be interesting to hear how it would sound with that short muffler.

Yeah, I saw it was pretty short. I'm guessing its going to be a bit quieter than the SLP loudmouth. Nnot by much though haha

I'm going to do a bit of research on this before I pull the trigger. I know Borla makes a 3" in and dual 2.5"out in almost the same case size as the SS muffler. But the muffler alone is 200 bucks

Sounds great man. Not too loud, just what I am after. What headers and Y pipe are your running with that?

My car came with that exhaust stock. I was wondering how it was going to sound when I get my headers on and heads and cam in. Now I just gotta make the time to get it done.

Just some cheapo Pacesetter Long tubes and ORY. I want to get nice stainless headers and Y pipe some day.

Oh yeah, when the Hot Rod Super Nationals (Americruise) is in town you can hardly move on O street and when its done, every intersection looks like a drag strip from all the burnouts!

On any given summer night you will find a lot of stupid kids in hondas and VW hellaflush crap, but still some nice domestic stuff as well as some nice and fast imports. So yeah, a lot of people still cruise O street. Most of the smart people wont try to race on O anymore with how bad cops and traffic is, but I won't say I've never done it . How do you know about O street? Are you from around Lincoln?

Went to school at Union College off 48th for a few years about a hundred years ago. Relentlessly cruised O Street. Used to hang at a giant pool hall called Big Jakes and cut a rug at PO Pears. This was around 1989-90.

I was just a baby then. Not sure about Big Jakes, but Pears is gone. What a small world haha.

Super nice car there 93, very clean.

I'm not from NE but am just across the river in Council Bluffs IA. When is Americruise? I've always wanted to go but always seem to miss it. Any of you guys going to the Ice Cream Cruise in Omaha this year?

Looking at a map, Jakes was just off O street and Sun Valley Blvd. I've heard it is gone as well. It was a great place, and yeah, I'm old and rickety.

Americruise is always Memorial weekend. I plan to go to ICC this year as long as the car is good to go. You going?

I plan to go to the show and race at MAM afterward. Last year was a pretty good time and I didn't even participate, should be even more fun now that the car is done.
