whats wrong with my car?? i have no idea whats wrong with my car... when i hit the gas with the windows down i can hear almost a backfire or pshh of air coming from the left side of my engine compartment???? 
and when its kicks into high rpms the exhaust note sounds alot different and doesnt have as much power.. it sounds almost like theres a sputter to it (for lack of a better word) i cant describe it. i just wanna know if anyone thinks they may know whats goin on here. i'll thank you before hand for any posts you have with ideas and suggestions.

ohhh yeah.. im sure this has nothing to do with it, but also my gas milage BLOOWWWS! im lucky to get over 200 miles on a tank! and i dont even drive it hard. anyone know what to do about that??? that cant be avg for an lt1 can it? thanks again
