Default Lt-1 water lines

I am swapping a 95 LT1 into samurai we are changing to a carb. and dist. My question is what do I do with the lines that are supposed to go to the rear of the heads? Can I just hook them together as I've been told?

That won't really do anything. You want to run them as closely to the original way they were done for proper operation of the reverse flow cooling system.
