Not much. You really need to get a nice set of long tubes, gears and sticky tires. That will give you the most gains in the 1/4.
Just pray your 10 bolts doesn't go kaboom.

My first tune with them got me a much smoother idle at about 700 RPM's, it bought the fans on at 192 instead of 228 and better driveability around town. Seemed like the throttle was much crisper in the mid-range. My CAI and exhaust work seemed to compliment each other well. Actual horsepower numbers were. 31hp with free mods, airfoil, 1.6 RR, CAI, muffler delete and finally the tune. 256 to 287 hp. I'd say 15hp was the tune.

One of my friends has a '93z with almost 190k on it mod list:
Pacesetter Lts
True duals
K&N cai
PCM 4 less chip (tune)
He put down 282hp 313tq I think that is very good considering the mileage and minimal mods....

#35 James Montigny on that list also has a 93. I'm pretty sure that 380 rwhp number that James put down was an Ed Wright tune though.

I've ran the same bolt-on tune for the last 8 years. Alvin@pcmforless.

PCMForless did a tune for me back when I was bolt-ons only.

Ed Wright has done all of my tunes since then.
Ed has actually done tunes on all three of the Fbodies that I have owned and I have nothing but good things to say about him.

FWIW; The car makes quite a bit more than the 380 stated on that list LOL
Last time we sat on the dyno, I made 463.
Should be closer to 480 now that the cam, tranny, stall, rear end and balancer have been replaced. I just never got around to tuning it.

It's a '93 so you just order the adapter and chip, a week maybe.

Will be doing this soon also for my 93.
My car has been running a little rich and I have about 4 engine codes that are on right now from adding my LT's, !EGR,!AIR, and other things. Hopefully the tune will clear that up.

I would start by looking in junk yards or if you have paypal you can use the forums pretty easily. just go to the for sale section as search "lt1 pcm" or "lt1 computer" or something like that... probably return a few hits, youu shouldnt have to pay more then $50 or $60 for a used one.

I have an extra 1993 ECM. It's a refurb that I bought but didn't need. I've been keeping it around because if mine gives out it will be hard to find another. But if the price is right...

Best to look in the scrap yard, the 1993 is unique and might be hard to find.
