First T56 Rebuild

First T56 Rebuild
A little more than a week ago the transmission in my WS6 started making some really concerning noises and about 2 days later 4th gear wouldn't disengage. I researched the problem and found its a common thing to break the shift keys and cause this exact problem. Going off of my research I found a broken T56 on Craigslist and ordered and Build-Your-Own kit from Tick Performance and dove in to the Craigslist tranny.
This is what I found, turns out its a Tremec T56 from a 2002 Camaro that has been converted to an LT1 input shaft configuration
Broken 3-4 Fork
New Tick Performance parts
Steel 3-4 Fork
Going Back Together
Together!
Ready To Be Transplanted
Buttoning It Up
I've got all 6 gears and no bearing noise!

It took me about 8 hours start to finish and I didn't use any specific T56 tools. However, Kent-Moore makes a complete set. About the most specific tool I used was a set of linear motion snap ring pliers.

How's it running? I'm looking at doing a full rebuild as well. it's been down for over a year now with an exploded input shaft gear and the lower connecting gear(5,6 &R?). buddy of mine pulled it apart to the point that we need to get gear pullers and the correct snap ring pliers. I need to build it to hold 700ft.lbs.

Wow sorry guys! I just missed all the replies!
Yes I have a 5-6 lockout that makes 3rd impossible to miss. It's called Skip5-6
The tranny is running flawlessly and it's incredibly smooth and silent. I couldn't be happier! There is a kit somewhere on the Internet that pro-shifts the T-56 but that's overkill for you. Just a Viper main shaft, steel 3-4 fork, bronze shift pads, and carbon synchronizers would probably get you there. That and a really good clutch.
