Unhappy Please help 94 camaro z28 wont start

94 chevy camaro 350 lt1 started driving ruff from stop to start, went from a stop and started around a corner and the car made a loud POP and sputtered to a stop/died and now wont run, it turns over and try to start but wont? Thank-you and i hope i explained it good enough? It is getting fuel and has good fuel pressure. Please any ideas would help.

I would look at ignition. Try this test, take off air cleaner at throttle body. Open throttle and Spray starting fluid into the intake. If it fires you have a fuel or ecu issue. If it still doesnt fire, likely ignition related.

Could be opti spark, ecm, coil, or possibly something that drives the optispark (never messed wth one personally). Have you scanned for codes yet? Did check engine light come on?

Did the starter fluid trick still didnt start, havent scanned for codes (not sure how? i know the obd ll but that is 96 and newer). Temp gauge, seatbelt, airbags, and check eng light are all on have been since i got the car 6mon ago about.

Try holding the gas pedal to the floor and starting it

That sounds like your typical opti failure to me. If you're getting fuel, you obviously have an ignition related issue and it sounds like the opti died. Possibly the rotor fell apart inside.
