exhaust cut-out causing misfire?

exhaust cut-out causing misfire? it was the weirdest thing i pull over on the side of the road un cap the cutout and floor it and car throws me back like i hit the rev limiter.?
i already had one week with out a single miss and now i had an ugly one at high rpm also my trans temp was at 210 deg i got a tranny cooler on the way because i have a cam and also a tci 3k stall on her.
any suggestions it almost seem impossible that the cutout could be causing this dam it!

Wait, when your cutout is capped it misses? Check your catalitic converter, it might be clogged with carbon. If it is, you can get another one off Ebay for like 30 bucks. I think the brand name is Catco or something.

oh forgot to mention i have no cat's, and i had a valve adjustment a week ago and since then iv'e had no misses, but today i decided i wanted to scare a few people with the cutout uncapped and car seem not to want to shift gears or something. i have no engine light's or anything on the 94z28 a-4 .
could it be to much exaust flow which engine can't breath?
