How much is my LT1 worth?
If I did a full pull out engine tranny wiring harness how much is everything typically going for? Considering LS swap just wondering how much I could get for it. Got 120k on it, runs smooth and strong, stock internals. Thanks!

I'd look at your local CL to see if anyone is selling something similar. That's what I've been doing (doing the swap to a 5.3 myself). I'm thinking I should be able to get $1500 for my engine and trans, but mine has less miles, and has ported heads, intake, and a cam.

I've seen them priced from 1500-2000. I'm gonna be letting my dynatech headers go with it plus I bought a few new parts I never installed like new timing set, new poly motor mounts, have a cam, 1.6 rockers, push rods and guide plates too

Yeah, people can price them for 'whatever'.....the question is; "what did they ultimately sell for?"
Stock 120K mile engine/tranny = about $1000 to $1200.
With all the parts you have (NIB?), maybe add another $350 to $700....depending on exactly what those parts are, and their condition.

I'd say 500-700 for a lt1 long block
200-300 for the trans.
wiring harness another 100
Its hard to price, its all buyer dependent and what they need. Trans, motor and wiring should bring $1000.00 The miles don't help..

I think you'd be lucky to get 1k out of it. Most people would want to hear/see it run. That and everyone is on the LS bandwagon. I regularly see running LT1's on CL locally for $400, and based on how long they are on there....not a whole lot of demand. $1500-$2000 can get you into a running/driving LT1 car, might not look the best but if you are only after drivetrain then that shouldn't be a concern. Something to keep in mind.
FWIW, I picked up a 94 Formula not long ago for $500. Once I had the motor/trans pulled found out it had a GM reman trans and the bottom end had been gone through in the motor. I passed on a 95 Z28 a month ago for 1k. The deals are out there if you look and have cash to offer.
