You may be one of the lucky ones who have a good set of Taylors. I suggested replacing them to eliminate the wire set as the cause of your problems.

ok put wires on and the pass side what a bitch I don't remember fighting it like that. any way bought accell 9000 just to see what happens and they are arching bad... and come to think it looks like a arch is behind the coil very small sparkly I could see

ok so update got new Delphi wires there all good also new coil. car is still missing doing the same thing I believe to see a tiny arch what looks to be around or under the water pump thoughts on this??????

OP -

If you can actually SEE arcing behind the water pump (i.e. - in the location where the Opti is mounted on the engine), then you need to at least replace the Opti's cap and rotor, maybe the entire unit; but you will not know until you take it apart and inspect the unit for damage / water / issues.

Be sure to inspect / check / test the 4-pin Opti extension harness for issues too (Just unplug it and then look at the end and inside the Opti for evidence of problems).
