Default installing a walbro fuel pump

Just wondering who's installed any aftermarket pumps in their cars, and how you did it. Did you modify the stock plastic basket the pumps mounted inside? I didn't see any good results from my search, so I'm hoping you all will have some examples of how you did it. Thanks!

I zip tied mine to the shaft and ditched the bucket, just don't run it with less than 1/4 tank so you don't overheat the pump.

I put it in the bucket, it was pretty straightforward. I zip tied the lid and the bucket to the support. Make sure you get the fuel hose over the collar on the sending unit and put the hose clamp up there otherwise it will slide off and leave you stranded.

I modified the factory bucket, so the pump will fit inside it.

I also modified the factory bucket, just took a little trimming to fit.

we put one of those aeromotive 340 lph pumps in the stock well housing. had to pop it apart. then epoxied it back together. may have goofed up the fuel level sending unit cuz it runs out of gas just before the gage hits "E". but it runs great!

Crtd just bend the bracket so level sender sits lower to correct it

i opened the bucket and put the walbro in closed it back up and reinstalled. the only modification i had to do is trim the rubber bushing to fit on the new pump
