The 8.75 was on a 100 shot. We upped it to 150 and ran a 8.69, just shy of the record.

Someone lined up next to us and was ******* on our car a bit. He blew his rear out as soon as he left. I helped the track officials clean up an picked up parts of his rear end.

Nice job! That 60ft is killer! What is the raceweight? Tire size? 4 link and back halfed? On Alcohol and nitrous?

This gets me motivated to get back out there.

I guess you got that fuel pump issue fixed? LOL

Mike V needs to put his motor in for na, I bet that thing could run high 8 too. You would crush the record in my car.

I will bring the engine. You bring the car. We can throw it in the night before the race.

This was the 8.69, you can't really see the scoreboard though. The video isn't perfect as I was trying to watch the run more than record it.

Another video, it was slower in the 60ft so either the track fell off or we were spinning.

If everything is going right (leaving on the top bulb and using a 1 second delay) it will be anywhere from .015 to redlighting by a couple of thousands. Some of that is from the fact that you can see the bulb change faster at night. So there is something like 1.02 seconds delay from the top bulb to keep from redlighting.

Probably wont get a perfect reaction time for quite a while, but we have gotten some .005 times.

I should have given it the 200 jets last night.

Nice build. What Oil do you use? We run Brad Penn, no vacuum pump, no milk. Really good oil.

I run Pennzoil 20W50, it is cheap. I'm going to switch over to Valvoline VR1 since it is the only race oil I can get that is stocked on the shelf local.

The think that was probably really causing our oil milk was most likely that we weren't leaning out the motor on the return road before.

Every pass we made there was about 1/2 a shotglass full of alcohol in the vacuum pump tank. If you keep your motor warm, that would most likely evaporate out.

I run 20W-50 Penzoil, nothing special. I used to change it every 3-4 miles, but the vacuum pump sucks the alcohol right out of the crankcase. I get 2-3 tablespoons of alcohol every run, so I might try running it longer.

With the way he has been updating the list lately, i doubt it will ever change.
