That is funny. I just bought a set of these and got them last week. Very nice craftsmanship on them. I was surprised to see the quality of these headers. Very pleased!

I had speed daddy brand ebay headers on my 96 and loved them. Had to ding a primary a little to get it to fit perfect but other than that they were mint.

Thinking about buying some when I do true duals this spring for my 98.

I bought a set as well. They look better than I thought they would...I know they're not Kooks but for $349 shipped with a Y pipe it's hard to beat that. We'll see how they fit here in a few weeks.

I'm assuming from the pic, no because the pipes look the same size throughout

Glad to see there are options out there, are the LPP/OBX ones all sold out still? I missed out on that deal last year, by the time I went to pull the trigger the OBX headers were gone everywhere.

This is probably the way to go, I already have a ton of time and money in my 3" to 4" ypipe, I was thinking how the OBX was going to cost me more to get the ypipe to work with them.

The rusted and dented pacesetters that came with my motor years ago have definitely seen better days.

Anybody know what size the primaries and collector are on these headers, I just brought a 97 SS with completely rusted thru Pacesetter coated headers and I want to do stainless 1 3/4". Which headers would everyone choose between these and the OBX stainless I need to do something because I'll have to put new headers and exhaust on the car before I can drive it? Thanks in advance for any help. Never mine, I bit the bullet and got the header and ypipe.

set on a local forum was a disaster to install. guy had to get some money back from seller to have some welding fabrication done on the car. What a great seller but anything requiring more than 30 min of modification to save some cash isn't worth it. Just get real pacesetters. every car is different and the popular name brands seem to have far less issues than the cheap ones.

True, I saw these for sale for an LT1 camaro. I wouldn't pay 350 and then have to do this. I hope the guys that bought them don't have to mod them this much.

The smashed up headers in the pics above don't look like the same as the ebay ones everyone in this post brought, the collectors in the above pic look like merge collectors and the ebay ones I have are not. Plus the headers in the pic above are step headers and the ones from this post are not.
