Default lt1 gas mileage?
I know this may sound dumb, but i was wondering about how much gas milelage a stock lt1 gets w/ a t56? I was thinking about getting one, but i need somthing that gets around 20mpg. Thanks

it's all in tuning. I doubt any stock LT1 gets 20 mpg, but if you're tuned properly you can. I get close to 19 mpg average with my blown setup.

I dont remember what mine got stock, but my cam only motor was getting 27mpg on the highway and about 21 in town

The 355 only gets about 19 on the highway and about 14-15 in town.

I get about 16-17 around town, im not sure if thats normal or not though.

bone stock u should be getting mid to upper teens, doubt u will hit 20 tho

I can get about 230 miles with about 2 gallons left in the tank.

I get about 185 miles to a tank and that is on the highway

I get about 15 in town and i have got up to 27 on a highway trip. i don't drive highway alot. So I get about 18 mpg after a good week of driving.

17 city/27+ highway.

I do a lot of coasting, but when you throw a few good races in there MPG drops BIG TIME

With my 410s and an M6 i get about 23mpg.....340 miles...highway driving 75-80 all the way. City driving is like 15-20 if I can keep my foot out of it. The stock geared M6s have been known to put down 30+ mpg on the highway though...which is nice on those long trips
