If its a daily driver or mild build that will rarely if ever see 6300-6500 then SA rockers will be fine.

Not everyone plans to put their car into 11s on motor, some just want a decent reliable street car that may never even see the strip.

That is the plan we all start with.

While most people will eventually mod their sports cars, not everyone has their LT1s as toys that they want to make as quick as possible - some use them only as drivers and will keep them very mild.

True but even at that it still ways to know what the options are.

Mine was going to stay a mild 20K mile a year daily driver till a deer totalled it and then I bought a second car to drive while I fixed it, and well then I had a second car so I could afford to risk modifying it more heavily.......................

I bought some cheap ProForm 1.5s, then some CAT brand labeld 1.65 to try on the intake side of that ZZ4 cam but they measured 1.6 then got serious and did the ProMagnums, wasted a lot before I bought the right part. The ProForms were fine for the mild ZZ4 cam, I wouldn't try them with a modern grind with .100 more lift and 30-40lbs more on the seat.

Ive got scorpion full rollers on my current engine. Been very happy so far. They are also self aligning so no need for guide plates. My motor is a 12:1 LT1 with a 306 cam and fully ported/polished heads and intake.

got to love when folks post stuff like this with no quantifying result.
You know how many people are happy with complete turds simply because they have never seen something done well?

I sincerely hope this guys car runs well but it is still funny to see posts like that. Well funny or sad....................
