^ This. The aldl to usb cable is only about $60 and you can use Tunerpro/Winflash to correct the speedo. I think there are only 3 values in Tunerpro you have to change.

IMHO a retune is a good thing if u can afford it. My stock tune was getting a little wacko after 20 yrs. $200 PCM4less and 11 days turn around and worked great for me. Dyno tune gonna be more like $500 min.
I believe the only was to correct the speedo will be a tune/software unless u want to run huge tires.

What? Your .bin isn't going to change itself after 20 years unless your PCM or the flash memory inside is defective. Your car should run just as it did when it left the factory because the stock parameters are just that... stock. Anything out of the ordinary is an indication that something is wrong mechanically.

Try some welding on your car without disconnecting the batt.
SES light comes on - EGR code (41?, 42?). Cooling fans run at weird times than previous.
Cant even hear my fans now and no SES.

Verdad Gallardo Regardless of whatever nonsense you were doing to your car when your PCM crapped out, a tune doesn't degrade. Having a tuner alter OP's tune for a gear swap is a gigantic waste of money.
