Just checked, no arcing anywhere under the engine bay.

02's do nothing at full throttle.

Mine were maxed at any throttle position to idle, thats what threw the red flag that it might of been the problem for me. If wires are checking out might be the opti. Atleast you have one on the way and checked every thing else.

That leaves an open plug wire, fowled plug, injector, or mechanical.
If you have a decent scan tool you can see which cylinder(s) have a problem.
To eliminate an injector just swap one from a problem cylinder with one from a good cylinder to see if the problem moves. If not, of course, they are OK.
Ohm the plug wire on the problem cylinder(s), should be high resistance (like 10k), but not open.
Good luck.

You would think by now every damn body would know to Lock Tite those screws! Or, at LEAST make sure they are tight. They never are when you buy them. I mean, who the hell would just take something like that out of the box and just stick it on the car without checking anything? My wife knows better than that. Most low mileage Opti problems are caused by the installer.

My new opti had some sort of loctite on the rotor screws.

What is the picture in your avatar? I know plugs and wires are new, but theres a good chance (happened to me) that a wire could be burned on a primary tube. Before having to drain the coolant and tearing everything apart to get to the opti, Id just remove and inspect all plugs and wires, but thats just me.

Opti bushing is worn to the point where the rotor was starting to contact the cap. Also looks like it might have been arcing through the cap... will upload pics later. Also some of the seal on my lid came loose and was being sucked into the maf.
