Yank SS3600 Stall

Find a cheap 6spd 3.42 rear or buy and install 3.73s into your current rear.

Night and day difference in how your car will run and feel.

I started with 3.73 and they were ok if your old and care about gas prices. But if you want to have fun and destroy cars off the line then 4.11 richmond race gears, i would weld the axle tubes and get a good girdle for the little 7.625 housing or you will break gears sooner or later. Get your tranny flushed and replaced with fully syn fluid you will thank me later. Biggest trans cooler you can find and mount right to the condencer this will save your tranny from the stall you put in it. Once you do those then a 3600-4200 stall will be perfect.

Pick a goal for your car then decide what parts you might need, are you going to build motor down the road, street only, track only, SS, power goal, et goal etc then it will make it easier to help you.

I run a 4.11 , billet triple disk 3600 converter and drive it everyday long and short trips with no issues ever, well i do have an issue slowing down for Mustangs but other than that its great
