you can buy bulkhead rubber gromets in various sizes and put those on BEFORE you run your wires...or slit it and install if they are already run.

most hardware stores have them in the nut/bolt section

You live in Pinellas Park so the LKQ off of Ulmerton or the big one in Tampa should have something as I was picking interior pieces off a couple a few weeks ago. I have found several from there with tops still attached. Even if they are broken or faded you can clean them up with minimal effort, paint them if necessary and add a small hinge to the top so it stays on. It sounds really ghetto but I had received a few compliments after going mine like that years ago.

I look everytime I go there and found a few but not in very good shape. Seems like I need to start grabbing every one I see from now on, I thought I could just buy a new one.

I am looking for one of these parts as well. I have ordered from two places and they have both come back as not available. Mine is broken and is causing me power issues. If there a different solution that anyone can reccomend?

Any kind of decent, insulated terminal post of the same size should work. It's just a junction point.

Is there a part number you could post to reccommend? I know how to replace parts but not necessarily fabricate things. I know this is simple but I dont want to experiment on the car, I just want to bolt in and go. I'b be happy with a used example with the studs the wires mount to intact and tight, unlike mine.

I didn't have any particular one in mind, but places like Summit, Jegs, etc and parts houses should have many choices.

I thought I saw somewhere recently where someone was making reproduction versions of these. It got my attention because the top is broken off mine (go figure) and I immediately thought, hey, replacement! I'll see if I can't pull up where I saw it.

They sell bulkhead grommets for wire feed thrus, but in a pinch, I use the appropriate size vacum hose and just slit it down the middle.

I saw one that the owner replaced the whole terminal with what looked like something for a stereo setup for large gauge wires, looked trick with a lexan cover, Dont know if he fabricated it or that is the way it was made. Like Shbox says, its only a junction point.

This is what I used, it's a fuse holder I'm using a 250a fuse for a just incase since everything is in the wheel well now. Plus mine has a weather proof cover so I don't worry about water. Ebay sells them for 15 bucks.
