Ellwein Racing Engines it is an enthusiast who builds engines as a sidejob. I wouldn't put him on the pedestal most do but he does have a better understanding of the LT1 than most and would absolutely do a better job than most local shops that do things like lower compression, use heavier pistons and weaker than stock cranks.
