Run 1.7's if the springs permit and you'll have a decent performer. Would be similar to mine but you have more static compression and much much better heads. I made 390 on a dynojet which is probably low 200's on a mustang. Oh, I'm also stock intake and 58mm throttle body so I don't know how your carb/intake will change things.

14% difference to go from mustang to dynojet. Everybody uses a dofferent dyno, most is on a dynojet. Just happens me and u snm went to a mustang dyno. But op wanted hp i guessed that, and then it went on from there. Snm you know damn well that i havent taken it to the track and its closed.

Honestly unless your looking for bragging numbers just run the car. My car put down 388rwhp unlocked with a cam a little bit smaller then that and runs 10.9-11.1@120mph depending on the weather. There are several 500+hp cars that cant do that.

Sounds similar to my car. How much do your car weigh?

My car weighs 3680 with me in it. Its full interior/Air conditioned. Here's a rough overview on the build, I was debating selling it. But it will probably just sit and have a couple track outings this year. https://ls1tech.com/forums/what-wort...treet-car.html

DDDDWAAYNNNE the car went 10.46 with a killer headwind (as you can see.) I almost put it on the bumper and my nitrous controller kept kicking the nitrous solenoids off at the top of 2nd gear. That pass was a nitrous pass.

Later we found the harris microedge didnt have enough amperage to hold the nitrous outlet solenoids open, so we werent even getting the whole dose.

So the fastest ET it has run is 10.4 and you believe a clean pass would be 9 seconds.

I would say that is fair to say. "9 second capable" hows that? It wont go 9's on 100 jets, but it wont take much more to make it go 9's. The fact I only gained 5 mph on the big end on those jets says a lot (Due to lack of amperage opening the solenoids). I should have been up almost 10mph by the 1/8th.

I built the car originally planning on going to a direct port kit and really pouring the bottle to it. Now after talking to dave I think we will stop at 200-225 and just run it through the plate. The original plan was a 2 stage kit using a direct port and the plate.

Although I wouldn't call it a 9sec car yet either since it hasn't actually run the number, if he ran 10.4 on a 100 shot then it is definitely a 9sec capable car when he puts 200-225 through it.
