I was planning on getting my tird back together this summer I guess I have a date to shoot for now. Would love to finnally make one of these.

Collinsville is a good bet. There's about 5 hotels in Collinsville at highway 157 & I-55 and it's only about a 10 minute drive from the track. If I needed a hotel, that's where I'd go. Plenty of parking space too.
