None of those are the bad opti codes....however, a lot of the time no codes are set. Read this article, you do have several symptoms of bad opti though. How old is your opti? Your 93 has the old non-vented style which is most troublesome of all, which is why GM updated them to vented...may have gotten moisture in the optical sensor.

One of your new wires must have touched the exhaust somewhere. I would fix that, clear the codes and try again.

The opti gets a bad rap because people are stupid and blindly curse it no matter what the problem actually is, and in MANY cases when it "is the opti" a cap and rotor would solve the issue because like any other distributor the cap and rotor are WEAR ITEMS. But on the LT1 they are more expensive and harder to get at so people NEGLECT them until they fail then blame the opti and spend 3+ times as much as a cap and rotor cost buying a whole new unit.

I would tend to agree with lt1-xjs that if you did wires and 2 miles later it developed a dead miss you might have run a wire across the exhaust or had one not seated and it came off.
