Gapping recommendations for a SC LT
Vortech manual suggests factory heat range and gap (this is that manual written 10+ years ago) but when I was purchasing some parts from them 2 different techs said to do 32-34 and that I could even drop a heat range.
The plugs I pulled were gapped at 70-75! Center electrodes were worn down but color looked good (probably why gap was high??). Also what is the best way to close the gap? I've always just pushed the ground electrode against a hard surface but a neighbor flipped on me and said I needed to buy a gapping tool.???
