so I got the iac problem solved. I had a vacume leak. now on to the back fire. is only coming from cylinder 8. ive replaced the plugs with ac delcos. iv checked and re checked the valves. the only thing we think it could be is the opti I just bought, I have another coming but wont be in till Thursday. dos this sound about right? has anyone ever had an optispark cause this?

 

26 41 65 are the codes in pulling for the pcm. One is and optispark code so wondering if I got a bad one. Another is evap purge cylinoid and the other is right bank o2 rich. Any thoughts?

 

Oh I have replaced right bank o2 iat both temp sensors and put the egr valve and cylnoid back on.

 

Well, if the opti is bad, it can cause the other codes.

 

It only does it in cold loop.
and so everyone knows iv fixed the back fire had wires crossed. Now it runs great till it warms up. Then it idles down and starts running rough
