wish I stayed with the lt1 :(
Most of their cams are bigger than mines, and we all know their heads are.. I know I'm no competition to an LS1 with weight reduction but if their full weight 95% of the time their no competition for me. I usually pull them out the gate (low 1.5's in the 60) and they have to play catch up, but by then the race is over. They hate to see me coming lol.
As time moves forward, parts and shops specializing in LT1 engines will get thinner and thinner. There seems to be more LS gear being added to the aftermarket every week.
Even GM has very limited support and parts for the LT1 platform. In three short years, it'll be twenty years since GM stopped producing them.
You must know something about LT1 & LS engines that the vast majority of the rest of the motorsports & enthusiast world doesn't know.

Also having owned both, I would also say the LS1 is a better platform than the LT1.
