Thank you. I am waiting to hear back from a shop that will broach me an extended shaft coupling. After I get that I will install it on an f-body and get good video to show if its viable or not.

Quick ? when installed with the spacer how much room will there be on the middle bolt on the left hand side of the water pump. How close will the bolt be to the back of the power steering pulley. I don't like the idea of removing my power steering pump to replace the water pump if there no room to get the bolt out. Other then that sound good to me

About 1/4" big Lou. I believe I will be able to have enough room to access the bolt by taking the 2 bolts out of the PS pump and pushing it aside as far as possible. If that doesn't work, pulling the PS pump pulley is easier than removing the pump altogether. I will know.soon enough when I reassemble this 93 Camaro I'm working on for my brother. I will keep notes and take lots of pictures, I promise.

The power steering pump is two 10mm bolts accessed through the pulley with the belt off, very very simple and the system remains closed.

I'm interested in this.

Can someone refresh my memory, but do you HAVE to remove the balancer hub, in order to replace Opti?

No, but you must put the hub in the 12 o'clock position for the opti to be able to slide by.
