I personally would go with a better flowing muffler.

I am running Flo-Pro Twisters. Got them from Lane. They sound awesome IMHO and not much quieter than a car with open cutouts... just better because they are deeper and without the rasp. The LT's/True duals set up is so free flowing that installing cutouts wouldn't be worth it. In fact, driving the car around on the street, I'm on the lookout for the Po-Po so I can lift off the throttle before getting near them (it's that loud).
