Yeah any of the Duralast and CarQuest stuff... I'd run questionable used OEM parts from a wrecking yard before I'd pay money to put anything new or refurbished on my car from those two companies.

Gotcha. I went with the duralast because in my other thread, someone recommended it for the lifetime warranty. I can also understand the ICM concerns. What makes the coil a bad choice? (not arguing, just trying to understand.)

Those coils are hit or miss. Not only are they less reliable than the Delco, they're more expensive and offer zero advantage over the stock unit in your car (other than being eye candy).
