Default 11's stock bottom end w cc306 cam

Went to the track last night with my 94 trans am ran a new best 11.76 at 116 mph on a 1.64 60 ft. Car has 3600 stall and 3.73 gears and stock mildly ported heads with boltons and a few suspension upgrades. Shooting for low 11s at about 120 mph with this setup just need some more weight reduction and suspension upgrades first. The fastest car I have ever seen with this cc306 cam ran 11.18 at 121 and 9.83 with a 175 shot.

I wonder what realistic times a m6 lt1 could run with the super streetable low-mid torque monster cam "Crane 227" ? Cam with roller rockers, stock heads, CAI and Headers, stock 342's in back. Rear wheel HP? I heard this cam is a beast for street driving.

Good times considering the how hot it's been outside.. Work on that 60ft and drop some weight you might can pull a 11.5x-11.4x judging off your mph

Great times! The 'ol CC306 rocks. I always wanted to run that cam but went with the 847 instead.

Great time. 2 seconds faster than mine. What was your DA?

What rear end are you running?

Car's running good, especially for the weather, I am sure you'll be able to work it down a lot deeper in to the 11s. A lot of the "best" times people put in their sigs were set on Negative DA days. We used to see that a lot down here in Houston. Guys would wait till January when HRP opened back up after Winter Holidays and run these monster times in mine shaft air and put it in their sig saying thats what the car ran.

DA was around 700, and weather was in the low 70's, car still has stock ten bolt just have gears only, no girdle or anything stock rebuilt transmission with revmax 3600 stall. guestimate around 400rwhp. shooting for low 11's if everything holds up.

Thanks for the info, added to this thread. Gathering data.
