125 mph speedo?
125 mph speedo? as the tittle says i thought they only put 115 and 155 mph speedometers in the fourth gens?
Looking to purchase a car and in the pics it clearly has a 125 mph speedometer.

OP, as it happens, I have a '95 V6 and '96 Z28 in my shop. And as you noted the V6 has the 115 and the Z has the 155.
Interesting question. No doubt someone will come along who knows the answer.
Maybe it's a late model cross production thing... ?

As far as I know, there were two different tire options available for the Z28. The "performance option" had Z-rated tires and the higher speedometer whereas the normal tire option (can't remember what rating) contained the lesser speedo and governed PCM.
