Default Switching back to oem pump

Just a quick question i had a electric water pump installed about 2 years ago .now its failed so i bought an oem , what would i have to do to switch it back to oem or is it as easy as just bolting the new one in its place

Just undo whatever wiring you did, unplug whatever you put on the timing cover, and reinstall the splined shaft. Might be more I'm forgetting.

I'd send it back to the mfg for repair. Installing the oem could be as easy as bolting a new one on, as long as the drive gear wasn't removed.

csr they removed the drive gear so i have to stick with electric

Chances are since it's a 383 they used a double roller timing set.
