P0420 '96 Trans Am Good evening, quick question. I have the code P0420 and I was doing a lot of research with with this code and from what I've gathered and GM states to my memory if you have less the 80k Miles they will replace it for you for free... I just hit 150K miles now in my Trans Am and I was doing some research some more and I cam across that you can simulate the o2 sensors tricking the system into thinking their is a working cat ( Low Threshold Bank1) I went on the WS6store.com and found some o2 simulators for only a LS1 and wanted to know if it will still work on a LT-1 and if it will resolve the problem for the SES light to go away if not were can I go to get LT-1 simulators without replacing the actual cat because I plan on deleting them in the long run after I get my LongTube Headers.
