Default Winter storage issue

Hey all.
So I have been storing my car this summer at my house as I haven't had much time to drive it.
I decided that I would move it to a local storage facility tomorrow morning to free up some space at my house over the winter.
I decided this afternoon to give it a good wash and a once over before moving it for the winter.
Upon opening the hood I found a large nest (squirrel or mouse?) and vacuumed it and used compressed air to blow away the rest. I was surprised because I always store cars with Bounty sheets under the hood and around the wiring and I've never had this happen before.
After closer examination where the nest was I discovered this.... See pics velow
Needless to say I'm not happy about this, and this car needs to be on the road tomorrow.
I'm not new to the car, but not sure what exactly I'm looking at here. Any help would be appreciated.

I repaired the fuel injector wire and replaced the PCV hose.
It started right up (after a quick boost) and ran well.

Thanks for your help JOHNNYMO!
